Places to visit in New Hampshire / Vermont area with my girlfriend for a weekend getaway around 'Valentine's Day?

We are our mid-twenties – maybe a bike with a nearby hotel. Something cabin-ish, no hotel-ish. I am looking mainly a place to stay and what sites are close (bars, restaurants and recreation). O good experience last only one to be shared.

Stowe, Vermont is a classic New England town around a ski resort. There are plenty of recreational opportunities in and around the ski area, and although there are mostly hotels and condominiums are not chains and small independently owned businesses. I would say that Stowe also has one of the best selections of any restaurant winter resort town in New England. It is attractive, has character and not get bored!
